The LIVE BOLD Devotional Journal is written to encourage others to walk each day BOLDLY with Christ. Live Bold is a 52-week devotional journal inviting the reader to step out of their comfort zone by engaging in a monthly theme to strengthen their soul.

Cousins, Cynthia Cavanaugh and Andrea Tomassi penned the book Live Bold. From their banter, you can tell that the women are not just family but also friends.

The ladies spoke at a women’s retreat and videoed a bible study session. It was so well received by the women, that Cynthia and Andrea decided to make more sessions.

Live Bold has 12 sessions, one for each month of the year. Cynthia shares that friendship was the month of August. When you sign up to be a part of their community, you will receive the video the first of each month.

One devotional per week and one bold action item per topic. The goal is to push you out of your comfort zone just a bit.

Living Bold.org has an option to join the facebook group and to download free templates. Cynthia is a professor so she has provided some great templates for their sessions. They just finished a study of the book Soul Care by Edie Melson.

Andrea has a great closing where she challenges to believe in the truth even before you see it. She encourages that your feelings will catch up. Their theme verse Psalm 138:3.

I highly recommend joining their facebook group. These ladies are wonderful and encouraging. Being in a group with likeminded women experiencing the same struggles that you are experiencing and trying to approach it from a biblical perspective.

Live Bold

The Bible encourages believers to be “completely humble and gentle” (Ephesians 4:2) while expecting them to proclaim their faith boldly. In a new devotional journal from Redemption Press, authors Andrea Tomassi and Live BoldCynthia Cavanaugh tackle this seeming dichotomy, as well as many negative self-perceptions readers may suffer from, to help readers engage the bold faith awaiting discovery within them.

Weekly readings and guided journaling will embolden readers to
  • reflect on their faith,
  • choose obedience,
  • discover the bold faith already within them,
  • impact others for Christ.

This year-long devotional journal is designed to encourage readers to develop confidence in their faith and to Live Bold for Jesus. Through fifty-two weekly readings, organized by monthly themes, readers’ souls will be stirred toward both reflection and growth, while thought-provoking journal prompts and bold action steps will guide them to step out of their comfort zones and bravely forward with Christ.

Entirely by accident, cousins Andrea Tomassi and Cynthia Cavanaugh discovered they shared the dream of writing a devotional book. Inspired by reading their grandmother’s poetry, Andrea and Cynthia began working together, crafting what was to become Live Bold: A Devotional Journal to Strengthen Your Soul. This fifty-two week devotional book with guided journaling opportunities engages readers in pursuing that for which both authors are passionate: living boldly in Christ.
