Summary
As if it was Yesterday by Henrike Forschler is one of those books that you feel guilty for being totally sucked into it. I could not put the book down as I had to know how it was going to end. I liked how the communication was in texts, diary entries and messages. Not everyone may enjoy that but I really did. It reminded me of You’ve Got Mail or Goodnight Tweetheart (which I highly recommend also). I would recommend the book because I think it totally captures your attention. Admittedly on the first few pages I thought they were a tad cheesy in their texts to each other but you get into a rhythm and it totally makes sense and seems more natural. I like the additional texts between her and her best friend. So it wasn't just the two of them. I would have liked a better ending and I will give the author credit for surprising me.
