Summary
Wildflower Road by Jeannine Rosche the second book in the Madison River series. The book and story standalone. However if you read the first book you’ll be thrilled to know that Keira and Robbie make several appearances.
Ryann is Robbie’s sister. She’s working hard to help her parents save their mountain resort. I liked her character and how the author revealed tidbits of her past throughout the book. Although she had survived tragedy she still had spunk.
I was intrigued how the author created Shane‘s character. Shane was a pastor of a mega church when his life went totally off track. He’s now at their resort to be a cook. As they work together at the resort they open up to each other and realize they both may get a second chance. I enjoyed the scenes with Ryann and her friends.
The book deals with some tough topics that could be triggers. Suicide, infidelity and abuse
I received this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review.
