My name is Angel Sinclair. I’m the youngest senior at Excalibur Academy for the Technologically Gifted and Talented in Washington, DC. I was pushed ahead a year because of my high IQ and considerable prowess behind the keyboard, making me an outcast even among my own peers.I’ve been looking for my dad all my life. A brilliant mathematician and cryptographer, he disappeared under mysterious circumstances when I was 18 months old. Although my mom tells me I must put him in my past, it only makes me more determined to find out what happened to him. When weird accidents start happening at my school and the vice-principal is involved in a deadly accident, I don’t see it as a coincidence. After launching my own investigation, with the aid of an unexpected set of allies calling themselves the White Knights, I discover a threat far greater than I ever could have imagined.

Summary
Knight Moves by Julie Moffett is the second book in the series. I typically will not read YA books but this series just sucks me in. I realized I read this book without reading the book description. I like Angel so much would have read it no matter the book description. Angel is a main character that you cannot help but love.
The majority of the book is about their time at UTOP and their trials. It was fascinating. I could not put it down. The trials in were like a mystery. Julie was able to bring out the personalities and characteristics of each of the characters. The psychological testing was as fascinating as the physical trials.
The side storyline of her looking for her father continues. Along with several members of the NSA in a race to see who can find him first.
I would recommend this book to adults and young adults. Angel could be the Nancy Drew of the 21st century.
Violence - nothing disturbing but someone is out to get her
