What do you like about this book:
When You Reach Me is written for the middle school aged reader. However, it is a very enjoyable book even for an adult. The main character, Miranda, is a ten year old. She has been best friends with Sal most of her life. Suddenly, Sal is distances himself from her and she doesn’t understand why. Then she starts receiving notes and she’s not sure who is sending them. One thing is for certain, whoever is sending them knows what’s going to happen in the future.
I would recommend this book for the young adult reader. There is some violence in the story and there are a few mild curse words. It is free of sex scenes.
