Summary
Overall A Victorian Christmas Keepsake is a collection of is three romantic novellas about the treasure of love at Christmastime. The first book is Behold the Lamb by Catherine Palmer. It is about a thief, Mack who buys his way into London society by must do some rethinking when he meets Rosalind Treadwell. She was born with a title but has no money. When he realizes his connection to her and her family and admits it to him; will she be able to forgive him. This one was my favorite in the collection. Far Above Rubes by Kristen Beillerbeck is the story of Emma, the spinster sister of the beautiful Katherine who is sent to marry a California miner in her place. I delighted in Emma’s strong personality while put in such a tough situation. The author also drew similarities to Leah when she was sent in her sisters place to wed. Memory to Keep
by Ginny Aiken introduces a sea captain and a governess getting together during a cold Scottish December.
Violence a burlary (past), Mining accidents, but nothing violent.
Language
Sexual Kissing, and sex behind closed doors after marriage.
