For wealthy socialite Katrina Vandenburg, business meetings and charity galas are all part of her orderly, structured world—one that gets blown to hell after finding two dead bodies in the same day. The police think she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. FBI Special Agent Dayne Andrews thinks otherwise. Dayne and his K-9, Remy, are tracking a cold-blooded killer, and that trail…leads straight to Kat.
Kat and her rescue shelter—the Canine Haven—are the only common denominators between the murders, and Dayne is convinced she’s dead center in the killer’s sights. Protecting her will test every ounce of his steely resolve. She’s the most intriguing woman he’s ever met. And everything he shouldn’t want. Too bad neither of them seem to have gotten the memo.
And they need to focus on catching a killer now more than ever. Because if Dayne and Remy fail in their mission, nothing will stand between Kat and the killer’s deadly blade.

Summary
Trap N Trace by Tee O’Fallon is part of the Federal K9 series and may be my favorite. She’s an amazing author and is at the top of her game with this page-turning suspense, romance, K9 story that also has all the feels. I think it’s her best yet—and that’s saying A LOT!”
I didn’t expect to love Kat’s character as much as I did. The author has an exceptional ability to create characters you fall in love with and maybe drool over; Dayne. Kat may have been a ridiculously rich socialite but she had brains and character. I enjoyed the scenes where she was apologizing to her mother for her behavior.
Dayne is FBI and helping the local police solve a murder that Kat found. He ends up being her protector / bodyguard when she finds another body within 24 hours. Is Kat the connection?
The author created such great scenes that one minute you are laughing (Dayne walks out without his shirt on), or you are creeped out by the flower delivery guy, or holding your breath for the next clue, or sighing as Remy plays with the puppy Angus.
If you love romantic suspense, pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed
Sexual content – a couple physical scenes and lots of chemistry
Violence – a least two murders,
Drug/Alcohol use – some minor drinking
Language – f word was used 36 times.
