Special Agent Alexandra Cassidy has made a career of disobeying orders, challenging
bigwigs, and asking uncomfortable questions.
What offends her superiors most is that her intolerable antics have earned her one of the best track records in the FBI.
It’s too bad, some cases are better left unsolved.
When Cassidy is transferred to the backwaters of Arizona she finds herself leading a crew
with so many black marks on their records, it’s a miracle any of them remain employed.
Thankfully, their first case pretty much solves itself. But as Cassidy and her team continue
throwing bad guys behind bars, a creeping sense of suspicion grows. The cases are easy, a
little too easy, and troubling patterns become impossible to ignore.
Then things take a violent turn, and an elusive figure steps forward to help. But in a
conspiracy big enough to topple kings, every player has an agenda—and misplaced trust will
have devastating consequences.

Book Title: The Tech
Book Author: Mark Ravine
What do you like about this book:
The Tech is a very good FBI thriller, it also has the bonus of romance. Special Agent Alexandra Cassidy has been reassigned and given charge of a team of that at first seems to be rejects from other field offices. However, after they solve a few tough cases in under 24 hours, she seems more pleased with the team. She is especially taken with the IT tech, Mike. He always seems to know what she needs before she knows. All the cases they are getting seem to be connected in some way and it is apparent there is a mole. Alexandra is not sure who she can trust, and she is very suspect of the handsome IT tech.
As you would expect from a thriller, this one has some strong and persistent violence. There are also several curse words in the book, but nothing vulgar. There are also several adult situations discussed. For these reasons I would not recommend it for the young reader. The book could have used better editing, else I would have given it five stars.
