Summary
Texas Showdown is the final book in the O'Brien brother series. It was Austin's story and the conclusion to what happens to their parents. It is one of the best amnesia stories. Barb creates emotional scenes between Austin and Maria that pull on your heartstrings then in the next scene they were sizzling on the page. You could feel Austin's struggle with doing the right thing. I almost teared up when Austin went to visit his dog.
I don't want to ruin any of the plot twists for you but I will tell you that Barb had me second guessing everyone.
Great conclusion to a fabulous series. I highly recommend.
Sexual content - there was a physical scene, and memories from when they had been together, great chemistry
Violence - someone tried to kill her, and seems to still be after her, solving the murder of Austin's parents, poison the dog
drinking -nothing over the top
