Counseling is more than Laura Walton’s job—it’s her calling. So when Luke Martinez hangs up abruptly after calling the hotline where she works, Laura won’t let it go. She tracks Luke to the Grand Canyon, little knowing she’s walking into a heap of trouble. Laura’s not the only one tracking Luke, and while she came to help him heal, his other pursuer has murder in mind. Luke thinks he has nothing left to lose until Laura makes him believe—and love—again. Just in time, too, since he’ll need all his faith to face this last enemy.

Summary
Overall It appears be one in a series. The book stands alone but there are several couples in the book that appear to have their own stories. There is lots of action
throughout the book. I did not guess the villain which is always a treat when they can surprise you. One of my favorite parts in the book is when they are trying to
decide which of them is being shot at. I also was impressed with how she handled herself in the café. I wont say anymore as I don’t want to give away anything.
Good relationship between Luke and Laura. I will read more books by this author.
Violence We have several deaths; they are not described in gory detail. I do not think they would be disturbing.
Language
Sexual Hugging and Kissing.
