Summary
This true crime book takes place in Salem Massachusetts and tells the story of Martha Brailsford, a caring happy young woman who befriends a neighbor Tom Maimoni. She agrees to go sailing with him in his 28ft sailboat and is never seen again. The stories Tom tells the police seem to change each time he is questioned and it will be difficult to prosecute without a body and absolute proof. But then a local lobster fisherman find something that will finally bring a conclusion to this sad case.
