Summary
Overall The Scarlatti Inheritance by Robert Ludlum 358 Pages published in 1971. Ludlum’s first novel. I didn’t read this book until after reading several of his other
books. It would be interesting to read The Bourne Identity and then go back and read this book, Ludlum’s first novel. Being very interested in World War II, I very much enjoyed the story of a Nazi prepared to defect and provide information that could end the war. Something the Allies very much wanted and needed. If he defects it will release the Scarlatti Inheritance files which could destroy some of western world’s greatest leader’s reputations. Something the Allies may not be able to afford. Good story and nice pace. The first of many great works by Robert Ludlum.
