Overall Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton 313 Pages published in 2009 T his book was published after his death. Set in The Caribbean, 1665. A remote English colony holds out against the vast supremacy of the Spanish empire. Port Royal, its capital, is a cutthroat town of taverns, grog shops, and bawdy houses. Captain Charles Hunter, seeks the gold that hidden on a galleon in the town’s harbor. It’s a good, not great book. I just don’t like his newer books as much as his older ones.
