Summary
Overall The Navy SEALs Christmas bride by cora setton is a Christmas novella. I really enjoyed this book. Mason (exmilitary) and Regan are having friends over for the holidays. Dan just retired as a Navy SEAL and is planning on opening his own training facility. Sarah is in the army and is also a guest of Mason and Regan’s. Sarah has
trained relentlessly to be the best she can possibly be, but has always been told women can't do what men do in the military both by her own family and other men in the
military. She is considering retirement. You had a lot of lighthearted banter as Dan and Sarah compete. And then you had the more serious storyline as she internalizes her need to prove she is strong and that she is equal. This is the first book I have read by this author. However I suspect that some of the other characters (like Mason
and Regan) in the story that have their own book. I will be looking for those next. The book can be read as a standalone novel. Some of the competitions were hilarious as well as the bets. Great tension between the characters. I enjoyed hearing the perspective from a female. This is one of the better female soldier points of views stories.
Violence no violence, some mention of violence while they were in combat.
