Summary
Information, misinformation and a myriad of mismatched clues have Missing Persons Special Task Force Agent Nikki Boyd tangled up in a homicide case, where two homeowners have allegedly fled the scene. A desperate phone call and subsequent lead sends Nikki and her fellow agent to a boat owned by one of her dearest friends, Tyler Grant, where they make a grisly discovery.
Reeling from his wife's death and emerging role as a single parent, Tyler Grant has depended on Nikki, his deceased wife's dearest friend, through-out his first year as a widower. Now Tyler has been implicated, through no fault of his own, in a triple homicide and missing persons case through connections to his wife's family. As the death toll continues to rise, and the case suddenly takes on a life of its own, Tyler and Nikki find their lives at risk and their future very uncertain, as law enforcement races to save a young woman's life.
Lisa Harris has penned an excellent continuation of her "Nikki Boyd Files" series; "Missing" is a page turner with multiple twists and turns through-out every chapter, with just a wisp of romance.
