Summary
Overall Million Dollar Maverick is a truly enjoyable romance. The book description caught my interest and the author exceeded my expectations with the storyline. The lottery win did not overshadow the romance or the drama. This is the first book in the Maverick series that I have read so I was not familiar with Nate being the bad
guy in previous books. He seems like a great guy to me! In the opening scene you realize that Nate is more than just another handsome cowboy and you get to see Callie’s
spunk. Callie and Nate have great chemistry together. Nate is trying to make up for some of his immature and arrogant past behavior. Callie has left her life in Chicago and is ready to start fresh doing what she loves as a nurse. I was also surprised and pleased with how the author wrapped everything up in the end
