Summary
Overall The opening scene sets the stage for the series. You have a group of grandparents who become Matchmakers and are competing to have the first grandchildren. This
story has mystery, political intrigue, drama, friendships and sweet romance. I am not sure which I found more touching; the relationships between the grandparent/grandkids or the friendships between the three women. Kaye is also realistic in how she portrays the women. I immediately started reading book 2 because
I was so invested in the friendships. Some of the scenes from the singles group had me cracking up. Zarah and Bobby had a history together that didn’t end well. As they run into each other years later; they have to decide if they can let go of the past and try to make a future. I was glad to see the author show how Zarah and Patrick were
able to have a friendship.
