Summary
Overall Lethal Lawman is the second book in the Men of Wolf Creek series. The mystery of Aunt Liz missing and her nieces working with the police to try and find her
started in book 1 which I have not read. Lethal Lawman is Marlene’s story and while continuing the search for Aunt Liz, it also has its own storyline that does give you closure. You have someone threatening Marlene and she is not sure if it is her exhusband or an enemy from Wolf Creek. I don’t want to spoil anything but the author does an
amazing job of sprinkling clues and building up to the finale. I was impressed with Marlene’s decision that she deserved more than just sex. For a secular book you don’t
typically see that in a heroine. Frank is the ‘Lethal Lawman’ and has his own past that he is dealing with. The secondary characters are extremely likeable. There were several that I would like to get their own story including Jimmy, Chelsea, and Abraham. This book gives away a lot of what happened in the first book so I would recommend reading them in order.
Violence There is someone harassing Marlene. Shooting at her, vandalizing her apartment, etc
Language I don't recall any foul language.
Sexual There is a physical scene. Well written, not crude. Frank does just want to have sex without a relationship in the beginning.
Drug & Alcohol There is some casual drinking while in a bar.
