Summary
Overall Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton 400 pages published in 1990 Michael Crichton’s background in anthropology and later medicine comes through with his very detailed and thorough use of \"fiction as fact\" in the story of someone who figures out how to breed dinosaurs in a \"biological preserve\" on Isla Nublar, an island west of Costa Rica while creating an “amusement park” setting so that tourists can see and enjoy the creations. A Paleontologist and his graduate student are
brought in by the billionaire funding the “rebirth” to evaluate thepark. The dinosaurs have been recreated using damaged dinosaur DNA, found in ancient mosquitoes that sucked dinosaur blood back in the day and were then trapped and preserved in amber. A really good story and read that turned into a classic movie.
