Summary
JoJo's journey through the Untold Woods is a captivating tale of a dog who decides to venture into the eerie Untold Woods to save her best friend and the other cows. I love how the author makes you feel as if the dogs have an equal thinking to humans. The pictures are astounding. They paint the picture so vividly yet you can see that it's not a real picture. I was shocked to find out parts of this story was actually true. The main character, JoJo, is a real dog who had to face some of these challenges to get to her owner. I love how Barbara Shaw could see that dog and come up with a captivating tale. You can tell that she is a Christian because it reflects in characters in her book. I would totally suggest this book to ages 8 up probably. I feel like anyone under this age wouldn't appreciate the story as much as it can be appreciated.
