Seth Weinstein always knew Tina was way, way, way out of his league. Which is why he’s still astonished that he’s on a plane heading for their wedding in Florida. The Groom Posse has already pulled an airport prank on him—and he’s survived! It should be easy going from now on.
But Seth has absolutely no idea what he’s about to get into. A simple drink or two with the boys sparks a series of events that will pit Seth and his friends against everything and everyone imaginable, from his very powerful, very disapproving soon-to-be father-in-law to the federal government to a love-struck orangutan.
Seth’s hope for smooth sailing is turning into a trip on the Titanic. And the water is getting deeper by the minute…

Summary
Seth is astounded that he's going to marry Tina, the beautiful, politically conscious daughter of a millionaire. They're heading down to Miami for a destination wedding complete with a floral installation artist, a wedding planner with multiple assistants, and a wedding dress ecologically conscious enough that it almost makes up for the
conspicuous consumption involved in putting on the enormous wedding. Seth also has his college buddies along, and they stop off at a bar so you know things are not going to go smoothly. Before the day of the wedding arrives, the complex wedding party has had added to it a snake charmer, a motherly stripper and her dangerous manager, elderly people with marijuana brownies, an orangutan, Haitian refugees, and many more complications. Dave Barry is funny, irreverent, and sharpwitted. If you enjoy his columns, you'll enjoy this novel.
Violence: There is some violence, but it's not graphic.
Sexual content: There are sexual situations, but no sex scenes.
Drugs and alcohol are central to the plot.
