What do you like about this book:
This book is both a romance and a mystery. I found it very engaging and very enjoyable.
Tammy’s luck just couldn’t get much worse. She broke it off with her boyfriend after finding him with another woman and she just got fired from her job. She is feeling rotten and doesn’t make effort to hide her grief when she is dining out alone. To top things off, when she leaves the restaurant, her car won’t start.
Her luck begins to change when a handsome stranger in the parking lot offers to take a look at her car. He isn’t successful at getting it to run, but he gives her a ride home and arranges for his mechanic to take a look at it. That was the beginning of what could have been a beautiful relationship, but Tammy is reluctant to begin again. She is shocked when he, Sufyan, offers her a job as his personal assistant. Tammy is thrilled and moves to the province where Sufyan is Prince to begin her new life.
The plot of this story is very well planned and laid out. The characters are intriguing and believable. The mystery is very well handled and kept me guessing. I also enjoyed learning some about a culture different from mine.
Be warned, there are several curse words in the book, some sexuality and a lot of violence. For these reasons I would recommend it only for the mature reader.
This is the author’s debuts novel. I personally think she did a great job. There were some editing issues, but those can be corrected. It is definitely a story worth reading.
