Summary
Overall Heir to Murder by Ella James is the fourth and final book in the Adair Affair series. I have read the other books in the series however the author does a great job of catching you up so I think you could also read it as a standalone. The other books are very good so I recommend reading them all in order to get the most out of your reading experience. This is the story of Noah/Jackson who we found out is the long lost missing Adair heir in the previous book. He was raised Noah Scott by the women he thought was his mother. He was stolen from his parents as a child and the woman who raised him is actually his aunt. This is his story of overcoming the betrayal and finding out who is trying to hurt women important to him. We are still looking for his father’s killer. Rachel is his half-sister's best friend and came to him for riding lessons. When he finds out that she was only getting lessons to spy on him for the Adair siblings, the betrayal continues. I am typically not a fan of story lines where they are keeping secrets from each other. I am glad I stuck with this one because they resolve it quickly and it does not overshadow the mystery and suspense This story is steamier and more focused on romance than the other books in the series but you still get plenty of action and suspense.
Violence someone is hurting women that are impt to him.
