The Strigoi are closing in, and the Academy’s not taking any risks…. This year, St. Vlad’s annual holiday ski trip is mandatory.
But the glittering winter landscape and the posh Idaho resort only create the illusion of safety. When three friends run away in an offensive move against the deadly Strigoi, Rose must join forces with Christian to rescue them. But heroism rarely comes without a price…

Summary
Overall In the second book in the Vampire Academy series, Frostbite, the status of Rose and Dimitri’s relationship is put to the test. The story takes a twist when a royal family and its guardians are murdered. As a result, to keep the VA students safe, a trip is in store, and another guy is introduced into Rose’s life. Readers, meet the beautiful yet broken royal Moroi (good vampires) named Adrian Ivashkov. To protect the Moroi, the guardians must hunt the Strigoi (bad vampires) responsible for the murders, which proves to be a very dangerous and deadly endeavor. To make matters worse, Rose finds herself caught between the advances of a very sexy Adrien and a devastatingly
desirable Dimitri. Review by Noti.
