Summary
"Who do you depend on?"
That's a question Ford Marshall will ultimately have to answer if he is ever going to allow his fondness for a certain Petty Officer to grow roots. Navy Seals are known for their survival instincts, and since Ford is determined to rescue his sister while renewing his relationship with Scarlett Hathaway, his lone wolf tendencies may need to undergo some serious tweaking; after all, Russian assassins play for keeps.
C.I.A. specialist Ruby Jane Marshall is in deep trouble; her face is plastered all over television screens world-wide, as an apparent suspect in a foiled assassination attempt on a Russian general. While fleeing the scene she is forced to depend on a man whose skill set is beyond valuable, but whose emotional walls seem grimly impenetrable. Remaining in Russia is proving to be far more difficult, and dangerous, by the minute.
"We always think of God as our reinforcement . . .but He's our breacher."
What an explosive read! Albeit in the end, the acceleration proved to be a bit confusing as multiple characters in multiple places eventually intersected, but in their wake left numerous unanswered questions; presumably for the next book in the series.
