Summary
\"I can't wait until our Christmas mama gets here\". Roy Gibbons has a problem. He made the mistake of telling his daughter Elisbet that she would be getting a new mother for Christmas, but now he isn't so sure. \" It's not that easy to get a mother. I can't order one from the catalog.\" . . . . . . . . but what about getting one from a local father, determined to marry off his daughter before he returns to medical school? It works for Roy. Alma Pickens has spent her entire life taking care of her beloved father. So when she is informed that he is marrying her off to the handsome widower with the two lovely young daughters, she insists on being courted and even makes a list of ways that she and \"Mr. Gibbons\" can become better acquainted. However, Roy makes an almost fatal error. Will this \"Christmas mama\" ever make it under the Gibbons tree? This was such an enjoyable novella, that I could not help but wish that the author had written an entire book, being able to stretch out the nuances of Alma and Roy's relationship; full of humor and romantic energy from the very start! I received an advance copy of this story in exchange for my honest opinion
