What do you like about this book:
This is an excellent story about love, blended families, loss, grief, suffering and Faith. It follows the life of Mitch and Laci Young, along with their family, through some great times and some really rough times. Laci married Mitch a few years ago. This is a second marriage for both of them as they previously lost their spouses to death. Laci is pregnant for the second time with Mitch’s child, having miscarried the first. She struggles with her relationship with her mother-in-law, Maggie, because she thinks she doesn’t measure up to her expectations. Just as their relationship begins to take a turn for the better, Maggie starts to exhibit signs of dementia.
I highly recommend this book. The characters are very real and endearing. The plot is interesting and it takes unexpected twists. It is a clean book with only one curse word.
