Summary
Overall Sophie Winston, event planner, is out buying groceries for Thanksgiving dinner with her family when she's approached by a local media mogul and offered an opportunity to write a lifestyle column. Incidentally, this also gives her another chance to compete with the woman who replaced her in her exhusband's affections, the waytooperfect Natasha. From that point on, things go downhill, with dead bodies, stalkers, mysterious strangers, and unsuitable suitors in plenty. There are a lot of characters, and they're not developed enough to make it easy to keep them straight. The plot is a bit shaky, requiring a whole lot of lastminute explanation to make sense. But this is a very cozy mystery, with shopping and cooking and friendships and touches of romance, not to mention recipes and decorating tips. Enjoy it for what it is!
Violence There are murders, but the violence is not described.
