Summary
Overall Dark Tide is book five in the Justice Agency Series and is full of suspense just like the previous books. Dark Tide is Derrick’s story. Years later he is still
dealing with the emotional wounds of losing his birth parents and his adoptive parents. Derrick has never been able to commit which is what caused him to lose his college girlfriend Gina. Dark Tide opens with Gina trying to escape her attacker. She needs Derrick’s help. Will their past be too much for him to protector her and Sophia now? Dark Tide is a very well written mystery. The Justice siblings from the other books all make an appearance to assist Derrick. I highly recommend this series. The author does an impressive job of balancing romance, suspense and family to make this a worthy read.
Violence There are a couple deaths in the past and the book opens with someone being murdered. Nothing I found disturbing.
Language
Sexual Kissing and hugging.
