Summary
Overall
In Danger in a Red
Dress it takes a while
for the main characters
to meet which makes
the story appear to
have a slow start. The
romance is hard to
believe when they
characters spend only
the last quarter of the
book in the same
location. I wanted to like
Gabriel but it was a little
hard when half the book he is ‘watching’ Hannah
doing ‘everything’. He
calls it surveillance, I
call it creepy. Hannah
could have been a tad
stronger. I also thought
the ending was rushed.
Why would she forgive
him. They didn’t have
enough history to play
on. My favorite part of
the book was when we
find out his wife had
Nathan beaten and he
was not able to father
more children.
Violence
Ms Manly is
murdered/poisoned
