Danger on her Doorstep is a romantic suspense that occurs during a renovation of a Victorian house. Maggie’s father was found dead in the house by Sherriff Gideon. Maggie needs help in renovating it so she can sell it. Gideon is on leave and under investigation. Unbeknownst to him, his brother was framing him to take the fall for his drug business. With nothing else to do Gideon assists Maggie with the renovations. Interesting things start happening. I was surprised by the ending which is always a plus. Maggie and Gideon were appealing characters. The author’s descriptions of renovating the house were so well done that you feel you are there.
Violence- some embarrassment, a dead body.
Sexual-Kissing and hugging.
