Summary
Classified Christmas Mission by Lynette Eason is part of the Wranglers Corner series. Although the book can be read alone, I highly recommend that you read them in order to get the full impact of the characters. For those of us that have been following the series we were starting to wonder if Amber really was a travel writer. Well she isn’t; she works for the CIA. She has been undercover and her best friend has been killed. She now has custody of her friend’s autistic son, Sam. Sam adds an element to the story that is unique.
Sam’s father has found out that she was not really the nanny but a CIA agent undercover working with his wife to bring him to justice. He is now trying to kill her and get to Sam.
Deputy Lance was her childhood crush and friends with her older brothers. He never saw her as anything other than a kid sister until now. Watching him see her in a new light was fascinating. Lance is trying to protect her. Both of them are put to the test with all the man power Sam’s dad has at his disposal.
The book is full of action in an environment full of cold weather hurdles.
