Summary
Overall Can't Let You Go by Jenny B. Jones is the fourth book in the Katie Parker Production series. Jones is a gifted writer who is able to create a story that is funny, trendy, heartwarming, serious, AND makes you cry. Have you ever read a book that you couldn't read fast enough?! Well, this is one of those. Sadly, I'm guessing that this
may be the last Katie Parker Production book. I could only hope to be able to read another book about Katie Parker with her insecurities and snappy sense of humor not to mention her hunky love interest, Charlie Benson. The novel could stand alone, but I've got to tell you, you will get so much more from it if you've read the previous three. You will better understand Katie and Charlie's history, and you will pick up on some fun zingers that you will otherwise read right over. Ms. Jones writes from an obvious biblical worldview, and doesn't shy away from presenting unpleasant/difficult relational issues. One theme that is heavily visited is how we can allow fear(s) to hinder us from really living life, from committing in relationships, and from fulfilling God's best for us. You will find Ms. Jones's approach to be fresh and witty. The
novel is another hit in my opinion. (But do yourself a favor and read the other three first!)
