Summary
What a great read! This is Gist's first novel, and in my opinion, if she continues to write more novels like this one, I will gladly read them all. I like her vivacious protagonist, who unwittingly finds herself kidnapped and hauled to America to be sold to the highest bidder in a colony lacking enough women to serve as brides. Trouble is he
has no desire to be a married woman she just wants to get back to England. There are lots of intriguing twists and turns to keep you turning the pages to the very unexpected end.
