Book Title: Acting can be murder
Book Author: Bobbie Raymond
What do you like about this book:
This is an excellent murder mystery centered around a community theater. Leah is the newly hired Executive Director of the Como Lake Players. While giving a tour for a job candidate, they discover the body of a local critic on the set of the current play. Not long after, one of the actresses is found seriously injured at the playhouse. When Leah takes on the role of the injured actress, she receives a threatening text. Leah works closely with the local police to try to find out who is behind the death and if the other occurrences are related or just coincidental.
There were a few curse words in the book and some violence, but it was free of sex scenes. There is, however, some sexually explicit talk. For these reasons, I recommend this book for only the mature reader.
