Summary
The book opens with a scene to get your heart pumping. You immediately know Grace has a past and the author starts sharing it piece by piece. Your heart breaks for her. She is a psychologist dealing with her own issues before she is thrown into a crazy murder mystery. One of her clients is murdered and they think she has the key.
Nate has just returned to duty after dealing with his own trauma. They had been great friends in college and he instinctively wants to protect her. It was a balance of them slipping into their past and understanding each of them were so difference after 10 years of life happening to them.
The plot line was fascinating and scary. You wonder if this can really happen. They are chasing hacker terrorists that want to take out the power grid. And just as often the hacker terrorists were chasing them.
A Secret to Die For is a great balance of heart warming romance and plot twists that will keep you guessing until the end. It will also make you think; what would you do if there was no power.
I recommend A Secret to Die For if you enjoy action packed thrillers that hit too close to home.
