The recent Strigoi attack at St. Vladimir’s Academy was the deadliest ever in the school’s history, claiming the lives of Moroi students, teachers, and guardians alike. Even worse, the Strigoi took some of their victims with them . . . including Dimitri.
He’d rather die than be one of them, and now Rose must abandon her best friend, Lissa—the one she has sworn to protect no matter what—and keep the promise Dimitri begged her to make long ago. But with everything at stake, how can she possibly destroy the person she loves most?

Summary
Overall Vampire Academy book four is Blood Promise. This is where a very important character, Sydney, for Mead’s spinoff series Bloodlines, is introduced. Sydney and Rose team up to find Dimitri, while, at the same time, Rose struggles to still protect Lissa. Along with the other signature characters the reader will by now surely love, Adrian is very much a big part of the story, which is significant since Dimitri is now Strigoi. Ultimately, though, Rose cannot give up on him, especially since he sends her a message, daring her to come and find him. Rose discovers that she has a chance to restore him to his former life but realizes that if she fails, she will have to kill him. Review by Noti
