Summary
The book starts off with a terrible accident at the drive-in movie theater, then other accidents start occurring in the once peaceful town of Promise Falls. The number 23 seems to be connected to the crimes which Detective Barry Duckworth is trying to solve, one of which occurred 3 years prior. Private Investigator Cal Weaver discovers a secret room which has obviously been used for some very interesting activities. The story initially intrigued me, but then the multitude of characters got confusing and took away from the main story line. This is the second book in the Promise Falls series.
