Ann Wilson created Wrap You Up in Jesus Name.   She used to sing this to her kids on the way to school.  Even as adult kids they will still close their text messages with Wrap You Up in Jesus Name.   Ann was going to write a cookbook and she felt the urging from the Lord to write Wrap You Up in Jesus Name.

After the book became popular, customers started asking for additional items like baby blanket and adult blankets.  In addition, she had a demo of a bib that will be produced soon.

She shares that the book is written like a daily devotional.  For example Wrap You up in Jesus Name in Salvation.   She said it was a book she needed when she was raising kids.

At the end of the interview I show her products.  The blankets are adorable and sooo soft.

If you missed us live at the show you can watch the interview here.

When you are young and first start raising your children there are so many questions and worries. I hope this book will be a guideline to help you get in the word of God and know what he wants us to do while we are raising our children. We have to do our part praying, reading the bible and teaching them right from wrong. But the hardest part is learning to say “Ok Lord, I know they belong to you, I have to trust you to do the rest.” Just remember what the bible says in John 15;7, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you”

Ann Wilson

She was not raised in a Christian home but when she was 21 years of age she came to know Jesus Christ as her Savior. A few years later she became a Sunday school teacher. When she was 26 she met a Christian man and married him. Since then they have raised three daughters. Ann has taught Sunday school classes for children, teenagers and women. Ann has organized youth rallies, bible schools and home prayer meetings. Praying for people, studying her bible and taking care of her family is her favorite thing to do.

Ann’s Story

ann wilsonMy journey of writing started years ago, when I felt the Lord was calling on me to use writing to glorify Him. I was not raised in a Christian home, but I was fortunate I was saved before we got married and had our children.Until I had my second child, I worked as a hair dresser for years, . My husband and I prayed about it, and decided I should sell my part in the beauty shop and stay home with the children. So I did, and after the beauty shop sold my husband received a blessing with more finances. We were able to build our first home! Our Minister’s wife said the Lord can bless a little the same as He can a lot, and He did.

I have a love for people and my heart’s desire is to serve the Lord, take care of my family, minister His word, and pray for His people. I feel like the Lord wants me to help get His word out to His people and churches through writing and speaking. Now, I want to give back what the Lord has given to me.

One of my callings is to pray for people. I had a blind Aunt who prayed for people all over the United States. She received prayer requests by phone. Sometimes she would have to take the phone off the hook in order to get some rest. People would call her around the clock. Now, maybe the mantle has passed on to me. People have been calling me for years for prayer, and I love praying for them. Please send any prayer requests to prayerrequest@annwilsonbooks.com
