This novella gets right to the point with Lorelei Davis getting her first assignment: protect the First Son, Daxon Hayward. From the start, she is attracted to the man she is supposed to protect. She knows from the start that going undercover could result in her falling love.
Lorelei seemed a believable character and I really liked her. I wanted her to be able to tell Daxon the truth so they could make things work.
I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more by this author.
