GREENVILLE, SC – August 18, 2021
Four months after her mother died of cancer, author and speaker Ginny Dent Brant was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. In desperation, Brant researched what she could do to help her doctors beat her cancer. The steps she took to change her lifestyle are chronicled in her book “Unleash Your God-given Healing: Eight Steps to Prevent and Survive Cancer.” She challenges you to change what your doctors have no control over—your lifestyle.Brant’s book has already won four awards and features commentary from oncologist and medical researcher, Dr. Robert Elliott, and endorsements from doctors and cancer patients.

“My diagnosis sent me on a quest to discover why I got a cancer for which I had no risk factors or genetic indicators,” says Brant. She pulls back the curtain on cancer and connects the dots between the Bible, nutrition, the science of how the immune system works, and conventional and integrative medicine. Brant reveals that our bodies were created with self-healing mechanisms that work best when we do out part. Her doctors called her their ‘Rock Star’ Cancer Patient when her blood work quickly returned to normal ranges after chemotherapy.

Her steps all enhance the immune system and can also be used to combat COVID-19 and many chronic diseases. “I believe COVID-19 is a wakeup call for us to realize we need to take better care of our bodies,” says Brant. “This disease and cancer prey on those with weak immune systems and both are clearly worse in those who have underlying conditions.” She encourages us to implement a health prevention plan because cancer is now as common as tornadoes in Kansas impacting one in two people, and Covid-19 is still spreading.

Brant says her battle with cancer has strengthened another necessary element of healing—her faith. “My journey has given me a new purpose in life—to educate and inform others.” Although I’m not promised tomorrow, my new philosophy is ‘Everyday is a gift.’ I plan to serve Him faithfully until He takes me home.”
