Operation Zulu Redemption by Ronie Kendig

Serial Description: Five years ago, six female soldiers seized the chance to make U.S. military history—they became the first all-female special operations team, known as Zulu. In the aftermath of their first highly successful op, they discover a horrible tragedy—dozens of innocent civilians and children—are dead at their hand. Too late, they realize they have been pawns in a power-play by those in authority. Fearing for their lives, Zulu members vanish. Under assumed names and spread across the globe, they live in relative but isolated peace and yet, haunted by the past. Terrified of being discovered. Over the years they’ve hidden, they believe they’re safe. Until two of their team are murdered. The remaining members of Zulu must regroup and figure out who is targeting them, but more importantly—how to stop their enemy before it’s too late.

My review of Collateral Damage: Collateral Damage is book one and picks up where Overkill left off. Overkill was a free teaser to introduce you to the characters. For readers new to this book, this is a serial novel similar to a TV show. Each installment is a part of the whole book. For those of us new to this type of publishing it can drive you crazy as you wait for the ending! Lucky for you all books have now been published, so you do not have to wait.

The girls are still trying to find out who set them up. Only three of them are alive and healthy with one still in the hospital. The girls learn more info about what Julie was researching before they killed her and you get your first glimpse as to who might be behind this. I enjoyed the scenes between Trace and Frankie. Frankie is still determined that Trace was behind it. I can just see the two of them ending up together with this much passion between them; even if it is misdirected at the moment. The books are full of action and will have you holding your breath.
I was a little disappointed we did not see more of Sam in this installment. I have hopes that this will change in the next installment; Redemption.
If you are really enjoying the series I recommend visiting Ronie’s author page where you will find links to each of the characters and get the scoop and photo of each one of them.    MEET THE TEAM
