I’m so delighted to feature two interviews with the lovely and talented Lori Foster. Lori and I conducted a Facebook Live interview during her event and a second interview specifically for the blog. Both of them are shared below.
Lori hosts a very special annual “Reader & Author” event outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. This was my first time to attend and definitely not my last. All of us have the date for 2019 registration on our calendars. The event sold out in under 10 minutes this year. This was the 14th year of the event! Proceeds from the event have benefited many worthy causes.
Here are a few behind the scenes nuggets before you watch the interviews:
- In addition to offering to connect me with authors, Lori offered her availability for an interview when she found out I was attending. (I was too intimidated to ask outright)
- Her husband was in the background and so supportive. They epitomize true romance.
- Sitting with her you would never guess she has won 2 Lifetime Achievement awards. She is gracious and easygoing.
- I am trying not to fan girl while sitting in Lori Foster’s suite!!!
Lori’s Bio:

Lori has published through a variety of houses, but is currently with Harlequin. She lives in Central Ohio where coffee helps her keep up with her cats and grandkids between writing books.
Lori hosts a very special annual “Reader & Author” event in West Chester, Ohio. Proceeds from the event have benefited many worthy causes, including the Hamilton County YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter, the Animal Adoption Foundation, The Conductive Learning Center for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy, and The One Way Farm, Children’s Home.
Lori began writing her annual benefit books in 2017, meaning once a year she writes a novella where all advance and proceeds from the sales of the book go to wonderful, local causes. In the beginning the books benefited our deployed men and woman, the YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter, and more. In 2013, Lori decided that the proceeds from the benefit books would go to the Animal Adoption Foundation.
