Living Intentionally is what I think of when I interviewed James Attrell. His original intention for his book was to share with his grand-kids and future generations. Although that may be his intent, I think many of us will find it fascinating and motivating. In addition, Jim has included pictures of his travels to all seven continents in the book. In spite of that, Jim was not traveling just to say he had seen a country. He had specific experiences that he wanted to participate in. For example, get a picture with a penguin, be at the equator, and go to Mount Everest. Equally interesting to me was the fact that different people (family, friends, etc) would accompany him on his adventures. Born in the Rocky Mountains of Canada in 1950, James has been in Texas for over 35 years . He retired after selling the family construction and leasing business to spend more time with his wife Sherry, serving his church, traveling to visit family and the rest of the world, volunteering his skills wherever they might be needed, building a real estate investment company and a wildlife ranch to serve the community, doing what he could to improve the community for future generations through non-profit service, and learning new technologies.
