Into the wild

“Driving west out of Atlanta, he intended to invent an utterly new life for himself, one in which he would be free to wallow in unfiltered experience. To symbolize the complete  severance from his previous life, he even adopted a  new name.  No longer would he  answer to Chris McCandless; he was now Alexander Supertramp, master of his own identity.”

Chris McCandless, a surprisingly sophisticated graduate,  becomes incommunicado when he drops everything (literally) to travel alone into he wilderness of Alaska. After burning his money and abandoning his only form of transportation, he conquers land on foot in hopes of living true experiences connected by nature. Will his basic survival skills and gut instincts be enough to keep him alive?  This courageously inclined novel is an inspiration to breathe in the fresh air and go on adventures and take spontaneous trips every once and awhile. Life is worthy living. Alexander Supertramp proved to many people that life does not always need to be lived in a materialistic lifestyle, but maybe a lifestyle in which  is filled with adrenaline rushing moments.
