Charlotte Adams specializes in improving people’s lives by cleaning up their homes, offices, and — well, their lives. She carries her skills into her own life, too. She tidies her apartment at night to create morning serenity. She lays out her clothes for the next day along with her prioritized to-do list and packs her briefcase.

So when Quovadicon hires her to cope with a staffer’s horribly untidy desk, Charlotte knows just what to do. But she has really never seen anything quite like this particular desk.  A hill of papers dotted with dirty sneakers, old sandwiches, and a sardine can spills over into moldy coffee cups and a dangerous-looking trash can filled with crusty take-out containers.

Her first visit shows that the office relationships are almost as untidy, too.

When Charlotte tries to set up a meeting with the miscreant, though, it turns out that the office mess-maker has disappeared. Can Charlotte sort out Quovadicon’s messes — or will she end up as one of the bodies being untidily strewn around?
