When Blackout security operative Titus Armstrong confronts the former love of his life with the idea of infiltrating her current boyfriend's secret organization, he is well aware of the potential danger. It doesn't take long for Titus to confirm that Alex (who is actually his step-brother) has been using and possibly abusing Presley all along just to keep her under his thumb, while providing cover for his nefarious activities.
Presley Lennox cannot believe that Titus has shown back up in her life. She never should have let him go, Alex had been a manipulator from the very beginning and although suave and polished on the outside, Presley had witnessed his true nature. When Titus offers her a way to escape Alex's clutches she agrees to help. But the clock is ticking and the stakes are high, the deadline for a showdown is just days away and Presley is being watched around the clock. She's sure of it, which puts Titus in just as much danger.
I enjoyed every page of this adventurous second-chance romance suspense novel!
