Summary
Book Reviewer: Donna Feyen
The Wishing Quilt by Jody Thomas is a collection of three stories. Jody has such a talent for building unique and special characters. I never can pinpoint what she does that just sucks me into the story and keeps me until the very last line.
Sexual content - kissing
Violence - someone gets shot
Wish Upon a Wedding by Lori Wilde is a second chance romance. He gave her up so she would go to college to be a doctor. Now 13 years later they meet again and the sparks are still there. Can they move on from the past?
I loved how her sister’s bachelorette party was a quilting party to make a memory quilt for the grandmother that was losing her memory. What a special idea.
Sex. One physical scene
I usually do not like stories of a misunderstanding. But I could totally relate and understand Paige’s concern about her designs being stolen and her being taken advantage of again.
Holt did nothing to deserve it but I understand her skepticism. Holt was a perfect gentleman and a hunky cowboy.
The guilting ladies were precious. They were looking out for Paige.
