A sweet romance collection with three full length standalone novels all in one box set filled with swooning, sizzle without the spice and guaranteed happy ever afters.
Kissing My Best Friend’s Brother
I didn’t mean to kiss my best friend’s brother—again.
Back in Maplewood to heal from heartbreak, the last thing I expected was Mason Carter. My childhood crush. My bestie’s older brother. Now a brooding hockey star with a game face and abs of gold.
One kiss over a decade ago was our secret. But now he’s everywhere—town events, late-night talks, teasing smiles that undo me.
Between stolen kisses and midnight confessions, I’m falling headfirst.
But if my best friend finds out, I could lose her.
Fake Dating the Grump Next Door
I agreed to fake-date the grumpy billionaire ex-hockey star next door—to stop the town’s matchmaking frenzy and give my bakery a boost.
Brody was supposed to be temporary. Gruff, gorgeous, and way out of my league. But behind the scowl is a man who’s kind, protective… and impossible not to fall for.
What started as pretend starts to feel real—until he gets a dream offer back in the city.
Now I have to wonder: was it all for show, or did we stumble into something worth holding on to?
The Broken Hockey Grump
Healing my grumpy billionaire heart? Not exactly on her to-do list. Neither was making me fall for her sunshine smile.
Bianca’s all positivity and persistence—my total opposite. But if I want to keep my hockey team stake, I have to survive ten therapy sessions a month with her.
She treats healing like a full-contact sport. I treat feelings like the enemy.
And yet… her laugh, her sass, her salsa dancing? Yeah, I’m in trouble.
Falling for her wasn’t the plan. Leaving her behind might be the hardest game I’ll ever play.
The Hockey Grumps is a sweet romance complete box set, full of sizzling chemistry without the explicit heat and a guaranteed Happy Ever After.

Summary
The Hockey Grumps by Gianna Ward is a collection of three clean hockey romances that I thoroughly enjoyed. While the stories are connected, the reading order felt a bit unconventional to me—I’d actually recommend reading the third story before the second for the best flow and continuity.
The second story ended up being my favorite. It immediately grabbed my attention, and I appreciated that both main characters were facing meaningful, life-changing decisions. The ending was especially satisfying and well done.
One of the highlights across the series is the relationships—not just between the romantic leads, but also among the teammates. The camaraderie felt authentic and fun, and I could easily picture the locker-room scenes with the guys giving each other a hard time as feelings for their girlfriends started to develop.
A solid, entertaining series for readers who enjoy clean sports romance with strong friendships and plenty of heart.
