When wedding planner Anne Hawthorne meets George Laurence, she thinks she’s found the man of her dreams. But when he turns out to be a client, her “dream” quickly turns into a nightmare. Will Anne risk her heart and career on this engaging Englishman? George came to Louisiana to plan his employer’s wedding and pose as the groom. But how can he feign affection for a supposed fiancee when he’s so achingly attracted to the wedding planner? And what will happen when Anne discovers his role has been Stand-In Groom only? Will she ever trust George again? Can God help these two believers find a happy ending?

Summary
This is a Christian romance, revolving around the wedding planning business. It is set in the south with a Brit as one of the main characters. If you are a fan of Dean Martin and Dino music you will enjoy a special treat as their songs are mentioned throughout the book. Anne and Charles must overcome several obstacles. I don't think you will be surprised with some of the 'reveals' but it is still an enjoyable read. Lots of supporting characters and I loved the big family appeal. The book deals with some more serious issues of forgiveness and trust also. I felt the book did a great job of describing the wedding planning business without over glamorizing it
Just hugging and kissing. The author does not describe any sensual chemistry between them.
